🧠Context Summary
Status: 🟢 Migration Active | Focus: Risa Refit & Storage Verification
Today's session achieved a major milestone with the successful migration and flattening of the Audiobookshelf library. We then successfully refitted risa-mediacore with Caddy, Pi-hole, Plex, and Audiobookshelf. We concluded with a "Permanent Fix" operation to optimize the host and verified persistence via a full system reboot.
🚧 Current Projects
-
Audiobookshelf Recovery:
- Status: 🟢 Resolved.
- Result: 5821 files successfully moved and un-nested into
/mnt/vault/media/audiobooks. - App: Live on
risa-mediacoreathttp://192.168.1.21:13378.
-
Operation Refit: Risa-Mediacore:
- Status: 🟢 Complete & Verified.
- Permanent Fixes:
- Purged CasaOS remnants.
- Optimized
/etc/fstabwithx-systemd.automountfor NAS resilience. - Enforced Docker log rotation (10MB/3 files) to protect NVMe SSD.
- Standardized
docker composecommand and deployednode-exporter.
- Verification: Full reboot performed. Hostname, storage, and all 5 containers (Caddy, Pi-hole, Plex, ABS, Node Exporter) successfully resumed operation.
-
Video Library Migration:
- Status: 🟡 Staged.
- Next Action: Execute
03_start_migration.shonmemory-alphato move ~1.8TB of Movies/TV.
📋 Fleet Health Report (Current)
- risa-mediacore (192.168.1.21): 🟢 Optimized. Acting as primary Gateway & Media node.
- memory-alpha (192.168.1.13): 🟢 Active. Handling orchestration and docs.
- starfleet-compute: 🟢 Healthy.
- ds9-truenas: 🟢 Healthy.
💡 Strategic Notes
- Automounting: The move to
systemd.automountis a game-changer for boot speed and stability. Risa no longer depends on the NAS being up at the exact moment it boots. - Continuity: The
continuity_handbook.mdis now the entry point for all future sessions to ensure no loss of technical context.
