Post-Migration Configuration Guide

This guide details the manual configuration changes required for each application following the TrueNAS Vault consolidation.

📺 Plex Media Server

Version: v1.42.2 Host: Risa-Mediacore (192.168.1.21)

  1. Access: Navigate to http://192.168.1.21:32400.
  2. Edit Libraries:
    • Go to Settings > Libraries.
    • For Movies: Remove the old /media/movies path and add /mnt/vault/media/movies.
    • For TV Shows: Remove the old /media/tv path and add /mnt/vault/media/tv.
  3. Scan: Trigger a "Scan Library Files" for both.
  4. Note: Metadata should be preserved as the /config directory was migrated intact.

🎧 Audiobookshelf

Version: latest (ghcr.io/advplyr/audiobookshelf) Host: Risa-Mediacore (192.168.1.21)

  1. Access: Navigate to http://192.168.1.21:8000.
  2. Edit Library:
    • Go to Settings > Libraries > Audiobooks.
    • Update the folder path from the old mount to /mnt/vault/media/audiobooks.
  3. Library Scan: Run a full library scan to re-index files at the new location.

📥 qBittorrent

Version: v5.1.4 Host: Starfleet-Compute (192.168.1.35)

  1. Access: Navigate to http://192.168.1.35:8080.
  2. Update Paths:
    • Go to Options > Downloads.
    • Default Save Path: /mnt/vault/downloads/torrents/video/completed
    • Keep incomplete torrents in: /mnt/vault/downloads/torrents/video/incomplete
  3. Resume Torrents: Existing incomplete torrents relocated to the Vault should automatically resume once the paths are updated and the client is restarted. Select all torrents and choose "Force Recheck" if they show errors.

🎞️ Radarr / Sonarr

Host: Starfleet-Compute (192.168.1.35)

  1. Root Folders:
    • In Settings > Media Management, update Root Folders to point to /media/movies and /media/tv respectively (which map to /mnt/vault/media/).
  2. Bulk Edit: Use the Movie/Series Editor to bulk-update existing entries to the new root paths.

🛰️ Prowlarr Indexer Sync

To ensure your indexers are correctly pushed to the downloaders, follow these steps:

🔗 Integration Steps

  1. Access Prowlarr at https://prowlarr.the-lal.net.
  2. Navigate to Settings > Apps.
  3. Add or Edit Radarr and Sonarr.
  4. Set the Server URL to http://192.168.1.35:PORT (Radarr: 7878, Sonarr: 8989).
  5. Paste the respective API Key.
  6. Click Test and then Save.
  7. Once saved, go to Indexers and click "Sync App Indexers" at the top to push your indexers to the new instances.

🛡️ Retired Services (Decommissioned)

The following services have been officially retired and removed from the Federation Fleet configuration to reclaim resources:

  • Readarr: Retired due to lack of active development/AMD64 manifest issues.
  • Nextcloud: Replaced by Paperless-ngx and Vault-native file management.
  • Stirling-PDF: Functionality consolidated into Paperless-ngx.
  • Legacy Downloads: All torrent data moved from /mnt/source_media to the Vault; old paths have been purged.
